5 /5 Tom Rogers: I havent shopped there in years, but I was pleasantly surprised when I did. There were plenty of cheerful, knowledgeable employees eager to help. To my surprise, I was given unexpected huge extra discounts when I was checking out. I recall when JCP was a great place to shop back in the 70s and 80s into the 90s. Ill have to check them out again after the holidays.

1 /5 Liz Allen: The jc penny makeup place, I walked in with my family and I was being stared at the whole time I usually am anxious and the lady was staring at me and asking if I was ready to check out and I didnt even have anything in my hands yet. I will never go again. She constantly stood next to me and my family not even having a conversation just staring right at us. It was uncomfortable

1 /5 Clinton McCool: Overpriced. Mens department is always a disaster. Never cleaned up. Never organized. Terrible sales. All their sales seem to require you to buy more than one of an item to get a discount. For example, buy one get one half price. Well, I dont need two pair of jeans or whatever. Just one. How about 25% off one pair? Or even 20% off one pair as an incentive to buy two. Nope. Have to buy two or pay full price for one. Well guess what? You just lost a sale because I would have bought one if there was a discount. Your marketers are terrible which is one of the many reasons why JCPenney is going bankrupt. This company and this store in general has completely fallen from grace. In years past, JCPenney used to be fantastic. No more. Those days are long gone. I dont even consider JCPenney anymore for anything whatsoever.
