To funnel money back into the pockets of visitors and residents of Dutchess county while supply the area with affordable sustainable clothing is a win win for all! Their clothing selection is amazing. They’re putting out tons of great inventory daily and they buy most items from their sellers during the appropriate seasons. This is truly a place for everyone to go buy, sell and support . I have been going here since before they opened and have been able to see what this store has done for the community . Every morning there is a line an hour before shop opens with eager sellers which says a lot of what this store means to people. Great staff and owner , for this high demanding store and fast pace environment they’ve been doing an amazing job at keeping up with the community demands the last 8 months since grand opening .

Kaira Tiegen This is truly a very special place. The thrift store is abundant in housewares, clothing, books, shoes, home decor, antiques, vintage, jewelry, and so much more. With out hesitation, my favorite place in the world to shop. People’s Place has become so much more to me than a really incredible thrift store. Every single person that works or volunteers I hold in the highest regard. You instantly feel the genuine kindness when you enter the doors. It feels like you’re shopping with your best friends. Often, while waiting in line to check out, I’ve noticed the kindness has become contagious. There is chatting and laughter among strangers. Yes the finds are always fantastic, but I can’t even begin to explain how uplifting and happy it makes me feel just to be in the presence of the true goodness all around because of the people who make this place so special. If you live locally and you have never been don’t walk, run and then tell every one of your friends.

I have a necklace and 2 bracelets(so far) and have a 1 year old and none have broken and are still as beautiful as they were the day I got them. As for the actual shop, it’s amazing. Great selection of cute quality clothes and accessories. They run amazing sales! The staff are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. This shop is my go to and I highly recommend!

codeamx1 I visited these guys on a gloomy rainy Sunday afternoon. I was pleased to see how friendly and welcoming they were. I took my time to check out their entire retail shop. They have a great selection of Kayaks, I was pleased to find out they were a Feelfree dealer. They assisted me in the purchase of some accessories and showed me where the public launch was located. I recommend stopping in when you’re in the area.
