1 /5 mary jane smith: Went there once, a few years ago. There were a large group of designer handbags, separate, from the others, with a sign that indicated that they were 50% off. I chose one and was charged full price. I was told, "this one is not 50% off." Even though, that group of purses was the only thing I looked at in the store, no discount was offered. I felt that this was false advertising and a discount should have been given. Bottom line, even if someone put that handbag, in the wrong place, a small store, should know their merchandise and make sure that only sale items are included, in the 50% off table. I began working retail clothing at age fifteen and we would have honored the discount. Its obviously not customer manipulation, if the person only looked at one table. Needless to say, I didnt buy the pocketbook and never went back to the store.
