4 /5 Cameron: Really liked the vibe of a thrift store and a cafe all rolled into one! It’s a curated thrift store, so a little pricier but they definitely have some cool pieces. I also enjoyed the seating area overlooking the street, nice to do some work for a while too! The winter specials were very unique and fun, which I loved, and they make a great latte. The persimmon syrup didn’t have as much flavor though, would try something else next time. I also hope they get more milk options other than whole and oat milk (extra $1), overall loved their vibe though and would definitely come back for more specials!

The racks are stocked with a sharp mix of vintage pieces and Heat Check’s own branded gear. Whether you’re hunting for a throwback fit or just browsing, the selection feels fresh and well-organized. It’s not a large collection but solid enough if you looking for something simple. The café twist is what really sets it apart. Grabbing a coffee while you shop adds a layer of comfort and makes the whole experience feel more personal. Staff was cool and helpful—no pressure, just good energy. It’s the kind of place you could post up for a bit, sip something smooth, and leave with a piece that fits your style.

5 /5 James Kelly: Absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Not really into the combo of store and cafe, but I had the most excellent conversation with one of the baristas who made my coffee and the coffee was great! I got a mocha latte and found it to be a very delicate taste, pairing well with the steamed whole milk. The large window in the front with the bar table facing it made it a prime location to do some work while overlooking Walnut Street, slowly enjoying a nice mug of a well crafted latte. Will be coming here again in the future.

5 /5 Amber Stenman: LOVE the coffee. I was meeting with a fellow coffee appreciater and picked up their pourovers to take and share. The beans they use are phenomenal & I havent quite had anything like them before! They carry some local makers and I picked up a cool beeswax candle in the shape of a poodle to give as a Christmas gift.

5 /5 Anastasia: Great new coffee shop and vintage store right on Walnut Street. Clean, with well-curated selection. Lots of light from the windows! High quality coffee. The owner, Q, has a lot of knowledge on all things coffee. I love that they offer lattes and mini-lattes, because I dont always want a ton of milk with my espresso. Branding is really cool, too. Ill be back!
