YWCA - (Near Williamsport, PA)

1 /5 Alicia McGowan: I resided at the Y with my daughter for over a year. The first half of my time there was decent staff that strived to help you to be your best self. Then it went all downhill FAST! There is staff that do NOTHING to get to know each individual in order to even direct them to the resources that would be beneficial for them. They do nothing to hold people accountable for the filth and feces that are ALL OVER the bathroom and the filth in the kitchen that caused cockroaches. There’s also bed bugs. Heather Reeder, whom supposedly “runs” things never even spoke to me, but was overly excited to put me and my daughter out when I never had a write up in all the time I was there! I spoke to “Erin Timmins” who also “runs” things about the feces and she did NOTHING! So please when I tell you from personal experiences that if you ever need a roof over your head then, “yes” it’s ok….but the “help” and “resources” supposedly provided are too much for the staff that “runs” the place!

3 /5 Carol Maldonado: Im sure it is a great place to get in our if the warm but if you are going to do this, you NEED to have someone available weekends who can accept donations. Just because I have donations doesnt mean I can afford to take a day off work to come there and drop my donations off. You NEED availability on weekends.

5 /5 Jo-Ann Gorski: YWCA has a high end and gently used clothing boutique . Very good prices on clothes, shoes jewelry and handbages. It is a place you must check out. it is like walking into a department store. Beautiful decorated and very friendly service. That best part is that the proceeds benefit the womens programs there. Run by mostly volunteers except for the over all manager. It is amazing!!!!

4 /5 Samantha Coney: This place is great dont stress over having to leave in a month. If your genuinely need a place to stay and clear your head you can come here. Dont expect much help finding a place to live but if you put in the work you can get a place to stay.
