2 /5 Robert Volentine: When youre a store on the Hill Country Mile, you know youre going to have customers from surrounding communities. A good first impression really sets the tone for visitors of our amazing little town. However, this store lacks very basic customer service skills as evident by the other reviews. Im guessing it really doesnt matter to them. We live in Boerne and have shopped here on a few occasions. Today will be the last time we shop at Bechants. The staff followed my wife and mother-in-law around, not to help, but to play security. No one greeted them, no one smiled, no offers to help. I guess we dont look the part of a Bechants ideal customer. I can assure them we can afford every overpriced item they have in the store. But Id rather spend our money in the many other stores on Main St. Many owned by our friends who are pleasant, helpful and appreciate their customers (local or visiting).
I hope the owners are listening. A little customer service goes a long way and would most certainly improve your bottom line. The two certainly go hand in hand.
