5 /5 Sun Flower: This was like a trip down memory lane for me. I did not know Gibson’s was still around. It was like a mini Walmart before we had Walmart’s lol They still have everything! I was blown away by the amount of retro stuff they have , the original Big Wheel, original games and candy from long ago that you can’t find anywhere else. The staff was very friendly and always offering to help. You get that small town vibe here , loved it . Prices have gone up from the 70s but it’s still a great place to get everthing from candy , guns, fishing poles , sheets and shoes . You can even get pool equipment as I did and bird feeders !

5 /5 Rox JP: My goodness, Gibsons manager, Candy, is a rock star in my book!! I purchased a western shirt and found out it was too small for my son inlaw, had my receipt, but their staff were unable to locate the transaction to do an even exchange. Then Candy stepped up to the plate. She was friendly and knowledgeable. After my searching thru my credit card app and some back and fourth discussion, she figured out the issue, explained what happened and we got the return and exchange taken care of...in a matter of maybe 15 mins...Annnd on Black Friday! Even though I was just a tad flustered, Candy kept a cool head and kept me cool! Cool heads prevail! Gibsons is a great retail store and they have almost anything you might be looking for! And great staff too!

5 /5 Cindy Elledge: Omgosh I grew up in Austin and I remember this store. It takes me back to my childhood. Awesome store and the people that work there make it even more special. Always someone around the corner to help. I picked up a few things and was especially excited to see the Dr. Pepper display, bought 4-4packs. You never see these in the stores, made with real cane sugar. Oh and love the complimentary popcorn on the way out.

4 /5 Timothy Williams: Gibson’s is a general store with the wide range of products. What I like about the store is the older candies, sodas, and toys from the past. Kind of like a throwback to the 50’s. Huge props for doing this. They have a lot of other artifacts, housewares, outdoor equipment, guns, in addition to hardware products and more stuff. I’m not trying to get political, but if you’re on the far right, you’ll love this store. If you’re not, you still might like some of the other interesting stuff this general store offers.
