I recently visited Kohls to return an item, and my experience had its ups and downs. Firstly, the return counter was placed at the end, which made it seem like they wanted customers to go through some inconvenience. It would be better if it were more conveniently located within the store.
On the positive side, Kohls provided a token for 15% off on any purchase. While this can be seen as a good market strategy, I was disappointed to learn that the discount would only be valid starting from the next day. It felt like they were pushing customers to come back and make additional purchases. Some might appreciate the discount, especially if they have more items to buy, but for me, it felt a bit manipulative.
Kohls offers a good collection of items overall, but I was particularly disheartened by the toy section. They did not have the toy model cars that are popular and loved by many. It would be great if they could improve their toy selection to cater to a wider range of customer preferences.
In summary, my experience at Kohls was a mixed one. While they have a decent collection of items, the placement of the return counter and the limited toy selection left me disappointed. The token for 15% off might be appealing to some, but it felt like a ploy to bring customers back for more purchases.
