One Energy Square - (Near Odessa, TX)

Art Mom Quality, curated items in a tidy and organized shop. What a fun find just off the square in historic, downtown SanMarcos. Friendly, helpful workers and cashiers. Reasonable thrift prices at this church thrift shop, and all for a worthy cause. I enjoy hunting around for a vintage treasure or an item for my “art mom” wardrobe, and I will definitely be back to this repeatable place. 7/2025 UPDATE: I was eager to visit this cute shop with my out of town guest. We checked the online listing to make sure we arrived with plenty of time to shop. However, when we arrived, we unexpectedly found the shop closed. There was a note on the door explaining the closure (a memorial service, and then the Fourth of July holiday.) I understand these reasons at this volunteer-operated shop. However, I definitely will CALL FIRST next time, before making the drive all the way to SanMo!

Christina Today I stopped by Style Encore to get an outfit for a night out with friends. It’s been a while since I’ve hung out and I was feeling a bit anxious about finding something fun and cute to wear. I expressed to Allycia that I was not that great at putting together outfits and she was able to help me quickly feel at ease. She asked a few questions and went to work piecing together an outfit that not only satisfied my request, but because she listened, she selected an option that also hid a problem area that I’m not confident in showing. I said to her that she definitely needed a raise in her salary, he laughed and said, “It would be nice, but I’m happy to do my job.” Quality customer service does still exist. Thank you Allycia for your kindness.
