5 /5 Christopher Bigley: Perfect shop if you are looking for local, handcrafted artisan goods. The owners (Jacques and Kamille) are super friendly, cozy atmosphere and good prices. We have been buying their hand-poured, all-natural candles online for years (Merlot and Spiced Honey are some of our favorites) and are excited that they now have a physical location with lots of other goods from around the area. They also mentioned workshops for those interested in candlemaking or leatherworking. They have something for everyone and plenty of unique or personalized gift options even if you don’t find yourself something. Totally worth a visit!

5 /5 Maddie Lawrence: Jacques and Kamille are some of the most kind, friendly, and thoughtful people you will ever meet. They have a deep love for their community and fostering the creativity of those around them. We have taken three classes, two of which were stained glass hosted by Desert Willow Glass and then the other class was candle pouring. Each class has been incredibly informative, fun, and fulfilling. The shop itself is thoughtfully curated with a range of different items that reflect the unique culture of the south. The candles and scents featured in the store are incredible and have a way of transporting you to different places, with a specially made playlist for each scent. The leatherwork in the store is handcrafted and unique, showcasing the talent of the owners themselves. If you are in town and are thinking of stopping by, I would highly recommend!

5 /5 Joyce J: Met Jacques and Kamille at a Makers Market in Austin last holiday season and fell in love with one of their gorgeous leather market totes, but the strap felt too long for me. I kept circling their booth and Jacques offered to adjust the strap by cutting down the strap length, adding buckles so the length would be perfect and ship it to me, gratis! It was the perfect solution, the tote is perfectly imperfect (you can see the cattle brand!) and I love it. Jacques craftsmanship is top-notch and their welcoming and accommodating customer service cant be beat. Hope to find them at another market on day!

5 /5 Melissa White: I was able to visit South of Here during their grand opening on Saturday and wow! I was so impressed with Jacques and Kamille and how everything came together. The shop was beautiful and the products were really great quality. Jacques even monogrammed the wallet we bought! They are planning to do some really cool leather and candle making workshops so we can’t wait to come back to check those out.
