Chase Singleton Very affordable mom and pop shops that seem to be forgotten by most people. Theres never any traffic once you get off wadley, and theres never any crowd either. Definitely try the sushi place or the new wing place! I even think theres a smoke shop over there lol.

MarciLynn What a DARLING store!! My daughter and I made the drive from Fort Worth to downtown McKinney for a mother daughter day. This store drew us in with their window display and open, airy feel. They have so many unique things to choose from that would make wonderful gifts! And, prices are reasonable! The owner was lovely and spent time answering questions. We felt welcomed and really enjoyed the experience.

Not only does it give individuals the chance to sell items they don’t need or use anymore, but it gives others the opportunity to by them at an amazing low price that you won’t find anywhere else! When you get there, they provide a bag for you and you just shop. I always make a list of items my kiddos are in need of before I go and they even have a toy section that helps me do early birthday or Christmas shopping. This is the one place I go that my kids love because they get to pick out a toy or two (Hello! Totally discounted and amazing prices!!) You won’t regret going!

M.A.D. Martian Creations The San Market has the most adorable local wares and unique gifts; it’s my go-to spot to bring out-of-town visitors. Staff are super friendly, and the whole place really captures the spirit of San Marcos. I especially love their original designs on 100% cotton Comfort Colors tees, great for sensitive skin! They also have the cutest bandannas!
