1 /5 Laurell Galindo: I had a really disappointing experience at the TJ Maxx in Stephenville, TX on March 21, 2025, around 11:30 AM. I picked out a few items, including a diffuser I found in the candle section. The cashier, a young Hispanic male in his 20s, seemed very interested in it and even asked where I found it.
When I got home, I realized the diffuser wasn’t in my bags. After checking my receipt, I saw I hadn’t been charged for it. It seems like the cashier pretended to ring it up and then kept it when I wasn’t paying attention. While I’m glad I didn’t lose any money, the dishonesty is extremely frustrating and rude.
I expected better from TJ Maxx and hope management addresses this kind of behavior. It’s disappointing to feel taken advantage of in what should be a simple shopping experience.
