Robert Shepherd Great location with easy access to the highway. Personnel were second to none in politeness and attitude. I would absolutely drive an extra 30 minutes to stay here again.

Sarah Says This place is a GEM! if I could give 10 stars I would! This is a boutique style experience with thrift shop prices! My fashionista husband and I spent quite some time in here finding all kinds of goodies, unique clothing and a few antique dishes. The staff and customers are very friendly and helpful! There are books, furniture, dish wares, housewares, clothing, jewelry and all kinds of goodies! A MUST STOP for anyone who loves a good thrift shop!

Taylor S My best friend and her husband moved to Killeen 3 years ago with the military. She and I are both from Georgia and we love to go antique shopping. One of my first visits to Texas, I searched for antique stores nearby and came across The Trading Post in Lampasas. We decided it looked worth our while and went to check it out. I’m so glad we did! Not only did we fall in love with The Trading Post and its friendly staff and booths full of treasures, we also fell in love with the town of Lampasas! Each time I visit, we make a day of coming to Lampasas, exploring the square, spending hours wandering around The Trading Post, and finding somewhere yummy to eat nearby. We’ve also brought many of our other friends and family to visit the store because we enjoy it so much! I love this store and I will be sad when my friends inevitably move away from the area.

Sophies Choice Recently under new ownership and management. They have a lot of new products in. The new staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about their products. Fun store!

Maximilian Martin Since this is the only gasoline station in town, it is a frequent stop for my fuel needs after church on Sundays. The parking area gets crowded quickly, and the premises is usually littered with trash. The fuel pumps have always provided easy pay at the pump, so I have never entered the building to check on bathrooms, cleanliness, etc. Easy to find right on Highway 90 at the intersection in town.

The employees are always very friendly and make me feel very welcome whether I am looking to consign or shop. They take the time to carefully check my consignment items to ensure the items they accept have a great chance of selling. I appreciate the time they take with checking the items both as a consigner and as a shopper since I can rest assured the items I purchase are in great condition and that the majority of the items they accept for consignment sell. I feel very valued as a consigner and as a customer and that is what has kept me coming back for over 20 years. If you have not checked out Shars yet, you should, you will be very pleased.
