Castlemoyle Books - Pomeroy

Rating: 5 /5
Shawn & Chandra Stewart (NPI) Castlemoyle Books is an absolute gem and is exactly what youd expect an independent bookstore to be! Theyve got a bit of just about everything; new, used, and antique books of all genres. Lots of antique furniture throughout and a bunch of puzzles and gifts round out a charming Main Street building. The owner, John, and his daughter were fantastic and we appreciated them taking the time to chat with us!

Melissa Morris This place is an absolute gem!! Fantastic furniture pieces that the talented owner has redone and refurbished at reasonable prices. The home interior is so cute and the clothes are perfect for dress or lounge. Every detail is thought out and the owners are the kindest most genuine people I have met in a long time. I never walk out empty handed. I live out of town and just found out about the online shopping for this store!! So excited. Do yourself a favor and check this place out first when you need a new outfit, dresser, table or perfect gift.

Michael Rogers I represent myself and the company that I work with that when I give notice to people who are entitled to be recognized because of their attitude and true values of caring for anyone who enters your establishment,I make sure that their names are known to all especially to all parties of management that you are blessed to have Deanna, Anita and Tabby to be the face that has grace. I sincerely thank the 3 of you for your time and effort and consideration in helping me with my purchases and helping me understand my company’s voucher agreement that they have with you and how it relates to purchasing more items in the future. Lady Bird Not sure what the low reviews are for but I will offer my honest opinion. Place just opened 1-2 months ago and staff are understandably being trained. Manager and stylists were both very fair and helpful in making sure I was aware of their trade in vs credit policies when selling. I’ve sold to Plato’s years ago and would say they were comparable in what they want to buy (vintage). If you want to sell name-brand workout clothes I would recommend 4AM near GU just opened or Hut No 8. The manager was personable and explained that they buy for what is most commonly sold and there is a 2-month rotation. I was able to sell 2 of my items for in-store credit and thought this was a fair deal for what I got. Even watching 3 people ahead of me also get 1/4 of their items being bought out. I left the store with $13.75 in credit and $88 for 4 off-brand/unique items that I would say were 50% or more of what it would have sold from their website (i.e. Guess, boutique stores, Cloud Ten, Privy top which I didn’t know was 50% off). I was happy to see brand new with tagged Mountain Hardwear plaid shirts too. I can’t speak on what Goodwill carries but they try to find unique items that wouldn’t go to your classic Goodwill or Salvation Army. As you can see in the photos these are my finds I felt were unique and worth the deal!
