1 /5 Vitaliy Sh.: My family has always enjoyed visiting Kent Station, and it used to feel like a welcoming place to spend time together. Unfortunately, after a recent experience with a security guard near Panera Bread, that feeling has really changed for us. My children had small bubble water toys after leaving the restaurant and were already walking toward the intersection to go home when a guard confronted them. Our older child ended up in tears while the guard continued addressing them, even though they were clearly leaving the area with their mom. I completely understand that rules exist on private property, but the way the situation was handled with young kids did not feel respectful or family-friendly. Experiences like this make you wonder why fewer families spend time here and why some businesses struggle to stay open. I hope management looks into how these situations are handled so Kent Station can truly feel welcoming for families again.
