In an era of corporate clothing behemoths and made-in China sweatshop chic, Barefoot Boutique maintains the comfortable, casual vibe of a neighborhood store, with the individuality favored by fashionistas. Their product is great high quality. They have very on trend, stylish, timeless pieces. Their prices are reasonable and their staff is sweet, friendly and helpful. I come up from the South Bay (Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo Beaches) every couple of months to Ventura harbor. Anytime Im there I always stop in and check out Barefoot Boutique and always will!

ALEXANDER OJEDA I’m always nervous about buying pants online since they usually don’t fit or the material is thin, but these Sculpt bike shorts are perfect. They hug everything just right, and the size recommendation was spot on, so no annoying returns. The quality feels amazing, like luxury material, and knowing it’s made ethically makes me want to wear them every day.

Crystal Dean I stumbled upon Betty’s Girl while visiting Antiques on Second and I’m so glad I did! I was buying a wedding dress for a friend (not the bride myself), and Betty happened to be there next to her sewing machine. I asked if she knew anyone who did bridal alterations, and of course she is a master! and without missing a beat, she announced to the universe that we needed someone 5 feet tall to model it. Moments later, a woman exactly that height rounded the corner—it was pure kismet! Betty worked her magic and had the dress beautifully altered the same day, ready by 5 p.m. Her kindness, skill, and lightning-fast turnaround completely blew me away. I’m so grateful for her hard work and whatever in the universe aligned to make it all happen.
