1 /5 Marie Erobu: I was not greeted upon my entrance to this establishment. I was talking with a friend saying I liked a skirt on a mannequin in the store, I saw a clerk watching me in my peripheral vision, but she did not approach me for help. After looking on my own for the skirt, I found it and was about to look for my size. At this point, the clerk walked up to me and explained the skirt was "very expensive". I asked her to repeat herself. She told me it was "a designer, and expensive, that I might not want it. And probably wouldnt fit it". I asked would this skirt not fit a size 8? She proceeded to again respond to me that the skirt was "VERY expensive." As if i could not afford a $70 skirt. I am very disgusted with this treatment and stereotyping. I am new to this city and I WILL NOT BE BACK! And will also tell all people of color to find another store to patronize!
