2 /5 John Toigo: Probably the first negative review Ive ever written.
Stopped in for quick visit to buy a couple pair of dress pants. Found two that I liked; the seamstress pinned them, rang me up for $1,200, and I was on my way. Only later did I realize I was charged an additional $75 for AK Rikks to hem them; its not a lot of money but one would think enough to have them throw some stitches in the cuff for free; doesnt matter. It took almost three weeks to get the pants back, and I had to call them after two weeks to see what was going on. Picked up the pants in a rush, assuming they would be hemmed correctly. Unfortunately, they werent. The next day I put on the first pair, and they were good; cool. A week later I went to put on the other pair. . .they werent even touched. How did the sales rep not even check to make sure everything was ok before handing them over. Just a bad experience all the way around. I sent a casual email to customer service letting them know of my experience: Im not looking for money back, or a discount etc, just wanted them aware; as a business owner, Id like to know if my team dropped the ball this badly. Crickets. No response. Miss after miss after miss. Ill get the pants taken care of somewhere else.
