5 /5 Jay Sells: First and foremost, the women that work there are wonderful. Not only were they extremely helpful, they were so nice. Ive read other reviews on a different site that states that it is like social gathering here, I agree it is. But why shouldnt it be, these are volunteers, they should have fun as they work for free making money for the church and community. Some drawbacks, it is only open on Thursday, I was able to go on the one day a year they were open on a Saturday, which is usually during the holiday season. Also, dont be fooled by the older review on yelp, they no longer sell shoes (thats what i went there for) but they do sell Lenox crystal, antique jewelry, art and everyday essentials. I ended up buying four ornate, woven Christmas ornaments for 50 cents (for all 4) and a Limoges, 24kt gold inlay box for a whopping $7.50. No, not everything in the store is that cheap, but if youre treasure hunting, you wont have to look hard, the women who volunteer here are a treasure, the rest is all frosting on the cake.
