5 /5 Trish Dodd: I’ve been shopping at this upscale consignment store for well over a decade and have consistently had great experiences. I’ve found incredible pieces—Christian Dior and Lanvin in my size (10–12), some still with the tags on. High-end handbags are locked up for a reason; snatch-and-grab theft happens everywhere. Just walk into a Bath & Body Works and you’ll see the same precautions.
As for claims of discrimination, I’ve personally never witnessed anyone being treated poorly. This is an upscale consignment store, and like Neiman Marcus or Saks, the staff generally give shoppers space and respect while they browse. If you need help, you can always ask. If an associate is busy, a little patience goes a long way.
Different stores have different expectations and atmospheres. This one prioritizes a calm, high-end shopping experience, and that won’t appeal to everyone—but that doesn’t make it discriminatory.
If this level of service isn’t your proverbial cup of tea, there’s always the classic thrift store.
