2 /5 Brianna Bass: I received a fragrance sampler set for Christmas 12/25/25. Upon opening the gift this morning, some of the vials were slightly lower than the rest, with one completely used if not almost empty. I had not sprayed any vials and the box was sealed. So I called Dillards to see if I can exchange the set out or at least get the full sample vials. I spoke to one manager on the phone who told me to bring it in. When I got there the manager I spoke to was unavailable so they sent another manager to assist me. She just informed me that, this was how they come and that they didnt have any more of the sets nor samplers to replace my used ones. She did agree that one if not two of my vials were already used, but there was nothing she could do about it. It is upsetting that she couldnt compensate for it but just tell me owell. I dont know if the employees themselves fill the box and maybe thats why my samples were already used, but I think the disregard for the purchase shows bad business on their part. If they didnt have any more boxes or samples to begin with, than the first manager I spoke to should have informed me of that over phone. That way I wouldnt be wasting gas to come to Dillards and be told they were out by another manager just to get me to leave. A discount or something would have sufficed instead of telling me owell. I still love the sample set and this is seriously messed up. They need to come vacuum sealed so situations like this doesnt happen and they need to watch their employees. This doesnt seem like something a customer would have done, but a employee who needed to exchange out a sample from the set.
