Heather Puzder If you’re shopping in-store, ask for Roy Benham—he’s amazing! I walked in clueless, and Roy not only explained everything clearly but gave me thoughtful options and made sure I understood them. Thanks to him, I confidently picked the perfect gifts for my sport-loving friends. I spent a lot, but it was because I wanted to—not because I was pressured. Roy genuinely cares about his customers, and that level of service is something you just won’t get online. I’ll absolutely be back to see him again—highly recommend!

St Helens on Granbury Square - Granbury

Rating: 4.9 /5
Tim Payne St. Helen’s is a standout stop on the Granbury Square. While the merchandise is fantastic, it’s the building itself that steals the show. Stepping inside feels like walking into a piece of Texas history. The atmosphere is perfectly balanced between rugged and refined. You are surrounded by beautiful, original limestone walls and high ceilings that remind you this building has been here since the late 1800s. There is a distinct "historic feel"—from the way the floorboards settle to the unique layout that invites you to explore both levels. It feels authentic to the Old West, yet it smells amazing (thanks to the French soaps and candles!). I also love the local lore attached to the place. Knowing that this is the spot where the mysterious "John St. Helen" (rumored to be John Wilkes Booth) once tended bar adds a fascinating layer of mystery to the shopping experience. As for the shopping, it’s a treasure hunt. They have everything from high-end kitchen gadgets and home decor to unique jewelry you wont find at big-box stores. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which fits right in with the small-town, historic hospitality. If you are visiting Granbury, this place is definitely worth a visit to experience the spirit of the Square.
