Ross Dress for Less - (Near Austin, TX)

1 /5 Sophia V: Maybe hire some cashiers, instead of only loss prevention staff. Plenty of workers walking around with radios, but no one working checkout. People would probably be less likely to steal if they didn’t have to wait 30+ minutes in line just to check out because there’s only one cashier!

4 /5 Heather C.: Lots of clothes and shoes well sorted out in sections around the store. Easy to find the general types of clothing you want (pants, shirts, dresses). And the shoe department is massive! Like other Ross stores, prices are good, but you need to hunt thru the racks to find what you need because theres no merchandising--plain cotton dresses will be hung next to a work dress. But thats your exchange for the prices you get. And while this one is definitely nicer than some of the other ones in town, I found dresses tangled with each other because they were falling of their hangers, and it hadnt been fixed by staff. For me, this is not a quick stop shop. It takes time to search for what I want, as opposed to a major department store. So if you are opposed to that, then Ross isnt for you. Parking is easy and its in a great part of town to make this a good stop to include in a day of shopping.

2 /5 Franki King: Not sure if the worker Jerome is having a good day but he was very disgruntle. We arrived at the store and he was the second worker I seen. Went to the shoes department and came to check out. He was very loud about it not being able to take a break and about to pass out. One side of the store is organized but the other is a mess. Also as someone has mentioned majority of the workers are of Spanish decent and only speak Spanish to the customers, even if you don’t speak Spanish.

2 /5 Kelsey M: You can find some good stuff here, but be prepared to wait in line no matter what time of day. There are a lot of employees around, but they spend most of their time walking past the long line at the register and staring at you. Or hanging up the same hanger about 8 times.

1 /5 DN Rymer: The ross was a ross. I guess it wasnt any worse than any other ross. I just thought all of the clothing was so ugly. There wasnt a single thing i thought looked nice. Also the conatant beeping of the security tags is pretty grating.
